Unlike other methods of heating the broken bolt to remove the insert, which compromises the structural integrity of the insert, our approach actually maintains it.The ignition Coil Hold Down Bolt Repair Kit ProPlate anchors into the black plastic valve cover and allows perfect, dead-center drilling to remove the fastener. Once the fastener is removed, an included machine shop grade tap cleans the threads of the insert and restores it to factory new. Simply use the included replacement stainless steel fastener to anchor the ignition coil.Go digital. The ProView package includes a high-resolution, scoping digital camera, which is compatible with your smartphone. This model allows for quick assessment, easier alignment, and better inspection of the broken bolt.
