The Ford EcoBoost Ignition Coil Hold Down Bolt ProKit is the best and quickest way to easily extract broken ignition coil hold-down bolts in plastic valve covers while maintaining Ford factory torque specs. This kit was engineered to make an easy repair of the ignition coil hold down bolt without removing and replacing the plastic valve cover. Unlike other methods of heating the broken bolt to remove the insert, which compromises the structural integrity of the insert, our approach actually maintains it.The ignition Coil Hold Down Bolt Repair Kit ProPlate anchors into the black plastic valve cover and allows perfect, dead-center drilling to remove the fastener. Once the fastener is removed, an included machine shop grade tap cleans the threads of the insert and restores it to factory new. Simply use the included replacement stainless steel fastener to anchor the ignition coil.
