Introducing the groundbreaking Z-Series® x NUT GRIP® Design, featuring the Nut Grip, 3/8" drive, Universals, Chrome Hand Socket Set. Includes Sizes: 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17mm. NUT GRIP® represents Ko-ken's innovative solution for securely holding non-magnetic nuts and bolts within a 6-point socket. This unique design incorporates two balls retained by a spring steel ring, offering a pin-less Universal Design. Unlike conventional ball type universal joints which rely on pin type joints, Ko-ken's universal joints feature interconnected hexahedrons, evenly distributing loads across the entire outer circumference. This structural design ensures durability comparable to pin-type joints. Leveraging NUT GRIP® Technology, our nut grip sockets redefine conventional socket functionality. Avoiding magnets, our system employs a spring ring and opposing flat ball bearings to firmly secure nuts and bolts in place. When engaged, the ball bearings exert pressure on the springs, ensuring a secure hold. This innovation not only enhances mechanic efficiency but also eliminates the headache of retrieving lost nuts or bolts within an engine, making nut grip sockets indispensable tools in any workshop.
