The foam is conformable to provide consistent application across uneven shapes, yet strong enough to withstand the torque of machine grinders or polishers. A 45-degree bevel creates a good edge for refined finishing. The disc pad works with fine grade 8" 3M Hookit abrasive disc (sold separately). And its 5/8-11 interior threads fit a variety of low-speed (maximum 3000 RPM) power polishing and grinding tools.
